Deirdre will be working in Atlanta as our Project Coordinator on our MARTA project. To learn more about Dierdre, she has a few fun facts work sharing in her own words.
“I have over 15 years in client-focused roles at IBM: Product Engineer (3rd level technical support) and Project Manager working with clients testing new technology before formal release. Prior to IBM, I worked as a I enjoy building relationships and delivering solutions to customers”.
“I’m originally from North Carolina (Durham), living there until I went to Howard University in Washington, DC where I obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering. I then worked for a short time in Tucson, AZ as a test engineer before moving to Houston, TX to continue my education. I obtained an MS in Computer Engineering and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, TX. From there, I worked in Austin and Dallas as a fab automation engineer for Texas Instruments, eventually returning to Austin to work at IBM”.
“Outside of work, I mostly enjoy being outside – nature walks (mild hiking) and walking or sitting on the beach with my husband. Our 2 year old German Shepherd is my giant baby that guarantees that I get at least a little exercise every day”!
Deirdre has a lot to share with everyone at ACI and is enthusiastic to learn from everyone. She is PMP certified, a PMI Atlanta chapter member, and actively involved in women’s networking.
